      Richard Bellamy is Professor of Political Science in the Department of Political Science, University College London, and – in May-June 2010 – a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Study, Oslo. Heis the co-editor of Critical Review of International Social and Political Philosophy, and he has published numerous articles and books on historical and contemporary political theory. His most recent books are Political Constitutionalism (Cambridge UP, 2007), which won the 2009 Spitz prize, and Citizenship: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford UP, 2008).



      Carlos Closa Montero is Senior Researcher at Instituto de Políticas y Bienes Públicos at CSIC and a former Deputy Director at CEPC. His current research focuses on the European Union and its democratic and constitutional processes. His most recent book is 50 Years of the EU (Peter Lang, 2008), and his Ratifying European Union Treaties: Processes and Actors is forthcoming from Routledge in June 2010.
