Resumen
En este trabajo se analiza la ley italiana de reproducción asistida, y la importante labor desempeñada por la jurisprudencia en la materia. Sin duda los pronunciamientos realizados por los tribunales inferiores, así como por la Corte Constitucional italiana y el Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos, han sido cruciales para dar la vuelta a una regulación muy restrictiva y ampliamente discutida desde su inicio.

Abstract
This paper analyzes the Italian law of assisted reproduction, and the important work carried out by the jurisprudence in the matter. Undoubtedly the pronouncements made by the lower courts, as well as by the Italian Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights, have been crucial to the return to a very restrictive regulation, and widely discussed since its inception.
